Victory of Serrano, who was co-titled for Jake Paul’s rematch with Tyron Woodley, meaning a blockbuster with Ireland’s Taylor is almost guaranteed.

She said, “MVP baby, I hope I made you guys proud. Jake Paul, Nakisa, and everyone in the crowd came to watch.

“All those who bought pay per view, thank you guys and this is women’s boxing, I’m doing it for all of us, honey.”

Taylor, undeniably light, kept her close to closing the deal with a won against Firuza Sharipova in Liverpool.

A week later and Serrano follows suit, meaning the two boxing superstars will of course have a historic clash.

Taylor, 35, in 2019 beat out Serrano’s sister, Cindy, 39, and was last year in talks to face Amanda, 33.

But in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the super war broke down and on the second attempt, an agreement cannot be agreed.

Now, Serrano is managed by famous YouTube boxer Paul, 24, and his Most Valuable Ads settle with mentor Nakisa Bidarian.

2012 Olympic gold medalist Taylor admits she has no problem with social media feeling at the forefront of negotiations for the potentially record-breaking negotiation.

She told The MMA Hour this week: “Obviously there’s been a lot of controversy and criticism about Jake Paul getting into boxing and making these fights happen.

“If he’s the one who made the fight between me and Amanda Serrano happen, I don’t complain at all about him getting into boxing.

“He’s obviously doing quite a bit of advertising for Amanda Serrano, and so he’s obviously going to play a big part in getting the game over this as well.

“So yeah, like I said, I don’t have a problem with him getting into boxing if it means he’s going to make the biggest fight in women’s boxing history happen. “

Taylor added: “It was probably the biggest fight in women’s boxing history, and what an incredible privilege and honor to stand in this position.” Amanda Serrano sets up ‘biggest bout in women’s boxing history’ with Katie Taylor with Jake Paul’s bottom-card win
