Alfonso Ribeiro gives heartbreaking update on daughter Ava, 4, following her emergency surgery following a scary incident

ALFONSO Ribeiro has given a heartbreaking update about his daughter Ava after she was in a scary scooter accident.
The 51-year-old Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor revealed last week that the four-year-old had to undergo emergency surgery after falling off her scooter.
Alfonso announced on Tuesday that Ava faces a “long” recovery after the incident.
Speaking on Live with Kelly and Mark on Tuesday, he said: “Unfortunately on Thursday my daughter was injured and had to have emergency surgery.”
“So it was a very stressful weekend. She fell and practically had a rash on her face and arm so they had to cut off all the skin with a scalpel.”
When Mark, 52, asked if Ava would be okay, Alfonso replied, “It’s going to be a long process.”
He also revealed that his wife, Angela, felt Ava would be “hurt.”
The actor said, “The difficult part is that my wife really listens to her intuition.”
“In fact, on Thursday she invited everyone into the kitchen and said to everyone, ‘I feel like my daughter is going to have to go to the ER this week.’
“‘Don’t let her do anything that might hurt her.'”
He added: “That obviously went unheeded. And so my nanny ran back inside to get pads and clothes and.” [Ava] I drove anyway with a small seat scooter.
Kelly asked, “Since when is your wife a psychic?”
Alfson replied: “Unfortunately for most of her life. She very rarely does anything wrong and sees things coming.”
“You don’t always listen to that feeling, and I think all mothers have this wonderful intuition. That was very specific, but all mothers have that intuition.”
“You carry that soul around in your body for nine months; there is a connection men can never understand that women have with their babies. And she felt something that unfortunately not everyone followed that information.”
BEAUTIFUL ACCIDENT
The “Dancing with the Stars” host first announced last Friday that Ava had to undergo emergency surgery after falling off her scooter seat.
“Not the kind of day you want on the day before you turn four,” he wrote alongside a photo of Ava’s nasty scratches on her face and arm.
Alfonso added: “I want to say a heartfelt thank you to @kareskinmd for the emergency service and approach that has helped reduce the likelihood of scarring.”
“So proud of how brave my little girl was during surgery.”
The actor shares three children with Angela – Ava and sons Alfonso “AJ” Lincoln, nine, and Anders Reyn, eight.

The TV star, who hosted DTWS with Tyra Banks last year, is also father to daughter Sienna, 20, from a previous relationship.
