Aldi customers ask grocer to ‘explain yourselves’ over seasonal item as store claps back ‘don’t knock it till ya try it’

ALDI has joined the growing popularity of pumpkin-flavoured foods – with a grocery offer sending shoppers into a frenzy.
Aldi has launched dozens of new pumpkin-flavored items in supermarkets this year.

A person posted a picture of a pumpkin crust margherita pizza on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Explain yourself, Aldi,” the customer wrote.
The image sparked incredulous comments from several customers.
“This is satanic,” one person wrote.


“People need to stop doing shit,” another person added.
Aldi responded, saying customers should get over the initial taste shock.
Aldi wrote: “Don’t do it until you’ve tried it!”

Aldi has released the Mama Cozzi Pumpkin Margherita Pizza for fall.
The company lists the 13-ounce pizza for $4.99.
Prices may vary depending on the store.
Mama Cozzi currently has several flavors of pizza available in Aldi stores.
The brand offers thin-crust, deep-dish and cauliflower pizza for $3.45 to $8.79.
Another flavor release also caused a stir on the social media platform.

Mama Cozzi’s other pizza release also had skeptical customers.
“Wait, I just noticed the beet crust on the top and bottom,” the commenter said.
The beet crust pizza was released alongside the pumpkin crust offering.
Aldi also offered the beetroot pizza for $4.99.
