But buyers are hoping the item could return after a new tweet from the store.

An Aldi fan recently contacted the company on Twitter to complain that he hadn’t seen his favorite snack in store since before the pandemic.
The product in question was Specially Selected Gouda Cheese Bites.
This potato snack was once popular for its sweet and creamy cheese flavor and was gluten-free.
“DO THESE STILL EXIST?! AND IF NO, WHY?!” asked the snack fan.

“My wife just reminded me of her and I really want her.”
Aldi replied to confirm: “It was temporarily out of stock but looks like it should be returning to stores near you soon!”
The buyer replied, “I will buy the entire stock.”
Aldi has a habit of frequently changing its product offering, and sometimes that means bad news.
A shopper was recently disappointed to see the store’s Irish cheese selection was discontinued after St Patrick’s Day.
The supermarket said on Twitter: “Because ALDI stores are smaller than traditional supermarkets, we cannot regularly stock all items in the stores.
“We offer many of our products once or twice a year as part of our ALDI finds or seasonally. Some items have unfortunately expired.”
April finds
Luckily for hungry Aldi shoppers, April has plenty of brand new items on the way.
Supermarket sources recently leaked a list of incoming items to The Kitchn and the rumors were apparently confirmed by Aldi when the company shared the item on Twitter.
Let’s take a look at some of the tasty treats hitting shelves soon.
SEASONED ALMONDS
Southern Grove Gochujang Spiced Almonds could be your new healthy snack when you need something different in April.
At $5.69 for a 14-ounce bag, this item represents excellent value and packs some serious heat.
The almonds arrive on April 19th.
CINNAMON CHURROS
Another exciting snack comes from Clancy’s.
Cinnamon churros are only $1.49 for a 3-ounce bag.
After April 26th, look for the red packaging to find these sweet treats.
The Kitchn compared them to Cinnamon Twists at Taco Bell.
PIZZA
Aldi’s pizza range is a hit with customers and the store is now bringing back a fan favorite it previously discontinued.
Starting April 5, the specially selected Spinach and Goat Cheese Wood Oven Pizza will be available in the frozen section for $4.49.

If that’s whetted your appetite, check out the full list of April finds, ranging from a new hard seltzer to Asian-inspired ready meals.
