Alarm at Nashville airport as person with gun shoots himself in front of terrified Easter travelers at baggage claim
A PERSON is in police custody after shooting himself at Nashville International Airport.
A statement from the airport said a person armed with a firearm entered the airport’s baggage claim area shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday morning.

The person threatened to injure himself and then fired the gun. They are now in custody and receiving medical attention, Nashville NA said.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
The shooting is still under investigation.
