Alan Cumming joins The Good Fight in Season 6, taking on the golden role Eli

This casting is literally and figuratively good as gold: Alan Cumming towards Good fight.

TVLine knew exclusively that Cumming would re-enact his hugely popular popularity The good Wife as Eli Gold in two episodes of Season 6 of Paramount + spinoff.

The story sees Eli returning to help his daughter Marissa (played by Sarah Steele in the regular seriesWho did Cumming work with? The good Wife) navigating her new career as a full-fledged attorney.

Cumming – most recent appearance in Apple TV comedy + Schmigadoon! – starred in all seven seasons of The’s a good wife as the strategic strategist turned-crisis director for Alicia’s husband Peter. (He relapsed in Season 1 before becoming a series regular in Season 2-7).

The news of Eli’s impending arrival came a day later Good fight announced that Emmy winner Andre Braugher will join the cast of Season 6 like a regular series.
