All of the snaps in the 68-year-old meteorologist’s latest carousel post on Instagram showed him gently cradling his newborn baby girl in his arms.
Al sat in a comfortable living room chair while holding the child on his lap.
One of the snaps saw him smiling at the camera while clutching her, and another just showed a close-up of the new Roker family member holding Al’s finger.
The image that really stole the show in the social media slideshow was the off-the-cuff pic of him and Sky.
Al’s doting gaze lingered on her as the TV star gazed lovingly at the bundle of joy he was holding.
He really looked like a proud grandpa.
The NBC personality captioned the post, “Spent the afternoon visiting @ouichefroker @thatteacherwhodjs and my #granddaughter Sky Clara.”

His daughter Courtney gave birth last week, making him a grandfather for the first time.
On Wednesday morning last week, Al posted the first photos of his granddaughter.
“And then this little girl came into my life,” he captioned post.
“Welcome to the world, Sky Clara Laga. In love again.”
He continued, “Thank you Courtney and Wes for this perfect blessing. Your baby is beautiful.”
“I’m already planning to spoil them and then return them.”
In the photos, Sky was lying on her side on a bed, wrapped in a blanket and facing the camera.
In the second picture, the newborn was lying on his back with a blanket and holding his father’s hands.
And in the third and final picture, Al beamed as he held his first grandchild in his arms.
Sky slept wearing a blanket with birds on it and a hat.
Some of his Today hosts wished him well and welcomed Sky to the family.
His followers congratulated him and called her adorable in the comments.
Courtney is married to her husband Wesley, an acting teacher, with whom she shares her daughter.
During Hoda Kotb’s Morning Boost segment, 58, Craig Melvin, 44, announced, “Our own Al Roker has become a grandfather.”
“Daughter Courtney and her husband Wes gave birth to a baby girl yesterday. The baby’s name is Sky Clara Laga. Sky – a meteorological name, of course.”
“Al says everyone is fine. Everyone couldn’t be happier.”
Sheinelle Jones, 45, then chimed in: “That’s really sweet that his first grandson’s name is Sky.”
“How cute is that?” she gushed.
Dylan Dreyer, 41, replied: “He was so excited about it too. You could just see the excitement when he talked about it.”
