The Today cast, including Al, Craig Melvin, Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones, collaborated to cook meals that were broadcast live with Rachel.

Towards the end of the segment, Craig pointed to Rachel’s husband.

“And by the way,” he said, “your husband is so well dressed. Can we show him? That’s a well dressed man!” Craig gushed as the camera panned over to Rachel’s husband off-camera.

He continued, “This is Amy’s husband. They have three children, very impressive.”

Al took a moment to correct Craig: “Rachel’s husband,” he said.

“Rachel’s husband,” Craig repeated.

“Wow suddenly Amy Goodman has an extra husband,” Al joked about Craig’s mistake, citing Today’s style expert.

The hosts shared a laugh and Craig suddenly said, “We’ll be right back!”

JOKER ROKER

Meanwhile, Al previously taunted Craig over an old photo.

On Tuesday’s episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, the presenters chatted with actors Lucy Boynton and Kelvin Harrison Jr. about the film Chevalier.

The film follows the son of a slave French plantation owner as he rises to great heights in French society as a violinist, composer and fencer.

Al had a question for Kelvin about the numerous scenes in which he plays the violin in the film.

He asked, “So, Kelvin, you have a musical background and a family, but this role, you know, required really intense violin practice. How did you go about it?”

Kelvin replied: “Well I called my dad. I thought my father was a classically trained musician,” he said, laughing.

He explained how his father helped him learn more about playing the violin to prepare for the role.

He had an intense schedule that took over five months to prepare for the role.

Kelvin added that he hated the violin when he was younger.

“We have a picture of you as a young lad playing the violin,” Al said to the actor, showing him the photo.

The hosts thought it was a cute picture.

“You know Kelvin, look at a picture of another fiddle player,” Al joked as the screen switched to an old photo of Craig Melvin.

The photo shows Craig with a knowing grin as he gets ready to play his violin.

He wears a long-sleeved black shirt with a white turtleneck underneath.

It’s a photo very much from the time it was taken, probably in the 80’s.

“Oh wow,” Kelvin replied, shocked.

Craig joked: “Oh wow can I get some respect? Why is the reaction ‘oh, wow’?”

Hosts and guests couldn’t stop laughing.

Al said of the photo, “We’ve been uploading this image at every opportunity.”

The hosts kept laughing before moving on during the interview.

Wandering ROKER

Meanwhile, Al announced he’s leaving Today’s studio for a new project.

The TV star is heading to the west coast “with a little vino” for the Start Today Challenge.

Al posted a video on his Instagram on Monday.

“Hey everyone. I hope you guys are having a great afternoon,” the 68-year-old said while strolling in Central Park.

“The weather is spectacular. I’m out here in the park, take a few steps in and take my time.”

Al continued, “I hope you’ll be coming to Sonoma for our first-ever Start Today Wellness gathering.

“We have Alex and Felix. We have Stephanie Mansour, all sorts of Sonoma chefs. All that and more and of course maybe a little vino.”

The Today meteorologist chuckled as he told his followers to have a great day.

“Don’t forget, next Friday, Start Today, live from Sonoma,” he said.
