AGT fans vow to ‘boycott’ show full of ‘recycled acts and fabrications’ and accuse judges of ‘making it all about them’

AGT viewers are calling for a “boycott” of the show after a long, “boring” episode full of filler segments and familiar acts.
Critics accused the judges of making the show all about them and claimed they were ready to stop tuning in.
Wednesday’s episode of AGT was supposed to be an hour-long show focused on results and revealing which acts will make it to the finals.
Instead, viewers were treated to occasional results with plenty of lighthearted and judge-focused segments in between.
Host Terry Crews kept things exciting with every elimination.
However, some critics called it a fake.

After each result was announced, there was a short skit, judge check-in, or performance, and it seemed that not everyone enjoyed that either.
When the episode aired, angry viewers took to X to share their thoughts and call for a boycott.
One critic wrote: “It’s really disappointing to see what shows like #AGT have become.”
“From recycled performances to fake tension to everything where it’s all about the judges… it’s just not the same as it used to be.”

Another wrote: “It’s filler segments like this that are slowly killing the show.”
“You can EASILY shorten the #AGTResults show to half an hour,” a third commenter wrote.
Someone else wrote: “The @AGT results are such a waste of time. Little Seat was stupid. Just do the results and finish the show.”
GOT IT WRONG?
Viewers were also divided on the results throughout the show.
Several expressed loud disagreements about which acts made it to the finals and which were eliminated.
Some were thrilled and celebrated as their favorite acts prevailed.
One fan wrote: “They did it right tonight.”
Another celebrated: “Yeah, my two best made it to the final.”
However, others were angry at the result, saying some acts didn’t deserve to go this far.
One critic posted online: “If this shadow act guy gets to the finals, I won’t be watching what happens next. Ridiculous! Nobody wants to see that in a Vegas show.”

Another wrote: “#AGT was ridiculous this year and not in a good way.”
Someone else posted: “America, you don’t deserve to vote in anything. I can’t pick decent politicians or entertaining artists.”
