After We Fell Won’t Come to Netflix in 2021

Fans have been patiently waiting to see the sequel in After series, After We Fell, but unfortunately we don’t have a Netflix release date yet. We hate to bring bad news, but we’re really not sure if the steamy love story will ever reach streamers.

In case you don’t keep up, After series movie Based on the book of the same name by Anna Todd. The story in the first part opens with Tessa Young (Josephine Langford) and Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin), college students who begin a romance even though Tessa already has a boyfriend. Subsequent works tell the relationship of the two characters as they face the ups and downs of their young adulthood.

And just FYI: These movies are R-rated for a reason and definitely NSFW.

The third film in the series, After We Fell, was released in US theaters on September 30, 2021, and based on the fact that the previous films premiered on Netflix shortly after their theatrical release, fans have assumed that After We Fell also coming to streamers soon. However, we are now two months into it and those are the crickets from Netflix.

When will After We Fell air on Netflix?

Because After we collide, the second film in the series, premieres on Netflix 60 days after its theatrical release, which we anticipate will be the case for After We Fell, too. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

Netflix shared their list of new release for December, and After We Fell was significantly absent. Sorry everyone, but that means the series won’t air in 2021.

The interesting thing is After We Fell now available on Amazon Prime Video to rent in the US for $4.99. In fact, all three movies can be rented on the platform. For Netflix, however, After We Fell only available in certain regions of the world. After and After we collide available on Netflix in the US and hopefully they won’t be leaving anytime soon.

At this point, I don’t think it’s a matter of “when” After We Fell coming to Netflix – it’s a matter of “if”. We’re not sure what the suspension is, but of course we’ll update you with anything we hear.

In the meantime, you can watch shows like The Witcher season 2 and Emily in Paris season 2, coming to Netflix in December.
