Adriana’s body was recovered Monday near Pioneer High School.
Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Derrick Jackson told Fox News that she had no “visible obvious injuries.”
“This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do but my daughter Adriana was found and she died!” John Davidson wrote on Facebook on Monday.
“I’m not sure where to go from here but I’m so grateful for all the support and love from everyone in this country especially family and friends who helped find and post Adriana!

“I need time to grieve and her siblings and mother and immediate family need time to grieve. I’ll post details of her funeral once we have everything settled!
“Thank you all for your support. I love you all! God bless you and let us all know that Adriana is at peace!”
“I DO NOT WANT THAT”
Davidson continued to pay tribute to his late daughter on his Facebook page.
“I miss you so much!” he shared with a photo of himself and his daughter early Tuesday.
In another throwback photo, also shared Tuesday, Davidson shared another heartbreaking tribute.
“I can’t remember how old she was here. I think we’re going through the Dunkin’ Donuts! It’s that smile!” he wrote.
“She just lit a room with it!
“Oh baby girl, I don’t want that! I want to swap places with you so you can live and bring all the love and laughter you’ve done to so many!
“RIH, I hope you are at peace my beautiful daughter! I’m just so lost without you!”
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
Adriana never returned home after attending classes at Pioneer High on Friday, according to the sheriff’s office.
Her family then began searching for her.
The sheriff’s office reported that friends of the teenager last saw her outside the school at 11 a.m. on Friday.
Adriana reportedly felt unwell and dropped out of school, Jackson said.
The teenager later returned to school after taking a public bus, but she never went inside the building.
“There’s definitely some suspicious elements in there,” Jackson told 7 Action News.
“We have no idea [where she went] at this point, so we are asking for the public’s help.”
In an update shared on Saturday, Adriana’s brother Anthony Lopez wrote: “A college student told her best friend that she saw her at the bus stop with a guy in a black sweatshirt and black pants and ‘they didn’t look like like they know each other’, but who knows.”
Lopez said his sister’s phone was found Friday near the school’s tennis courts.
The phone was returned to a friend, Lopez told Fox News.
“There is no evidence of foul play at this early stage,” the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook update.
“The Ann Arbor Police Department will be handling the death investigation since the crime scene is within city limits.”
