Active gunman in Garfield, Pittsburgh with reports of 100 shots fired when SWAT team arrived on scene

POLICE and SWAT teams have responded to an active shooter situation that reportedly resulted in 100 shots being fired.
The Shootwhich police described as “extremely active” occurred in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh on Wednesday morning. Pennsylvania.
Pittsburgh Police Department has closed the area around Broad Street and N. Mathilda Street.
The shooting happened near St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetary and UPMC Children’s Hospital.
Sources told the local CBS News affiliate KDKA that sheriff’s deputies served an eviction notice on a property and as they approached the home, the suspect began opening fire.
According to the KDKA, hundreds of shots are said to have been fired.
Video from the crime scene showed a massive SWAT and police presence on N. Mathilda Street while gunfire rang out in the background.
No injuries or fatalities were reported.
