Accident on Palisades Interstate Parkway leaves at least “four dead and eight injured” in horror van crash

At least four people were reportedly killed and eight injured after a pickup truck overturned in New Jersey.

The horrifying accident happened just before 2 a.m. local time on September 2 on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Englewood.

According to ABC7, a Ford Econoline van drove down the freeway before overturning in the woods.

It transported factory workers to their homes.

Cops believe the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, reports The Daily Voice.

According to reports, four people died. It is not known whether the van driver is among the fatalities.

The victims have not been identified as the investigation is ongoing.

Seven ambulances rushed to the scene of the accident as paramedics attended to the accident.

The injured passengers were taken to hospitals across New Jersey.

Five were admitted to Hackensack University Medical Center.

The wounded suffered minor to severe injuries.
