WWE fans stormed into the main event of WrestleMania where Roman Reigns defeated crowd favorite Cody Rhodes.
Reigns successfully defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a controversial manner against Rhodes at SoFi Stadium in Hollywood.
The two rivals shone in a match that ended with the champion’s cousin Solo Sikoa defeating the challenger with a Samoan spike before the title holder delivered a spear to victory.
The tribal chief has been world champion for a whopping 945 days, which means he’s on track to 1,000 days with the titles around his waist.
But many members of the WWE Universe are unhappy about this, as they wanted Rhodes to end the league’s reign after his emotional return to the company last year.
The American Nightmare’s first stint ended on a bad note in 2016, revolutionizing the sport with amazing work at the independent circuit that led to the creation of rival company AEW.
The 37-year-old won the hearts of wrestling fans with his underdog story and many supported him in his triumph at WrestleMania.
However, Reigns once again prevailed and that infuriated Rhodes’ supporters, who took to Twitter to pump WWE into high gear.
