Abraxas Academy Escape Updates – Cops are hunting for missing teens who escaped from the Morgantown Detention Center after a riot

Police are searching for five teenagers after nine escaped from a detention center shortly after a riot broke out, authorities said.
According to State Trooper David Beohm, Pennsylvania State Police and other agencies launched a search for the teens around 8 p.m. Sunday after they escaped from Abraxas Academy.
After almost ten hours on the run, four of the escapees have now been taken into custody on Oak Grove Road.
Five remain at large and police have advised the public to call 911 if they encounter them.

During a riot in the detention center, the nine young people were able to escape.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, law enforcement retook over the youth center after the riot. As a result of the incident, there were reportedly injuries to staff.

According to the Caernarvon Township Police Department, the escapees were wearing white or gray T-shirts.
