PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – ABC Transit, North Hills College District, and Teamsters Native 249 have come to a tentative settlement, avoiding a bus driver’s strike.
“Following 12 hours of negotiations with a federal mediator, ABC Transit Inc. agreed to a tentative contract with Teamsters Native 249, who indicated they may current the tentative settlement for approval to its membership,” ABC Transit Inc., stated in a press release. “Consequently, transportation shall be supplied for all North Hills College District college students as we speak, Wednesday, November 3.”

Teamsters Native 249 president has advised KDKA’s Royce Jones that the contract shall be ratified within the coming weeks.
