This came Monday night after the Adams’ Las Vegas Raiders narrowly lost 30-29 to the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

Rodgers, who was Adams’ teammate at Green Bay for eight years, admitted he was “surprised”.

Rodgers told the media on Wednesday, “I was definitely surprised.

“I love Davante, reached out to him after the game. I hadn’t seen the clip yet. But yes, I was surprised.”

After the game, Adams publicly apologized on his Twitter for the moment of madness.

Adams wrote in the now-deleted tweet: “Apologies to the guy I knocked over after the game.

“Obviously very frustrated with the end of the game and when he ran in front of me on the exit that was my reaction and I felt horrible straight away.

“That’s not me…MY EXCUSE man hope you see that.”

After the incident, former Packers teammate Adrian Amos offered his thoughts on the situation. tweet: “Yeah it’s wrong but relax he didn’t beat up the guy or anything greed so dramatic lmao”

Packer colleague David Bakhtiari also took to Twitter, saying: “My husband @tae15adams really likes this! He told people never to piss him off.”

However, Adam’s apology appears to have been too little too late as he was later on Wednesday charged with negligent bodily harm.

According to court documents, Adams’ “willful, overt act” inflicted “bodily harm” on the victim.

The citation states that the cameraman suffered whiplash, a headache and a possible mild concussion.

In Missouri, assault is punishable by up to fifteen days in prison and a fine of up to $750.

When asked if he was more surprised by the nudge or the charges, Rodgers said “more the charges.”

And it appears that Adams is struggling not only with assault, but also with a possible suspension.
