Aaron Carter’s fiancee Melanie Martin lashes out at “enablers” who “secretly sold Star Street drugs” before his death.

AARON Carter’s fiancee has attacked the ‘enablers’ from whom the late star allegedly bought thousands of dollars of street drugs during his addiction battle.

Melanie Martin, the mother of the singer’s only child, has broken her silence about their relationship and his tragic death in a lengthy interview with The US Sun.

The 34-year-old was found dead in his bathtub at their home in Lancaster, California on November 5, just days after their renewed split.

Speaking exclusively to The US Sun, Melanie insists she tried to no avail to get him to focus on being a partner and father after suspecting he was buying drugs more than a year ago.

His official cause of death has yet to be released pending toxicology results, but police say they found prescription pills and cans of compressed air at his home.

Melanie, 35, claims the former child star was clean for most of their three-year on-off relationship until “bad people from his past” started hanging out with him again.

She believes his inner circle has grown after he announced he was going to be a first-time father as people thought he would be back in the spotlight after his previous battle with drugs.

The influencer suspected he was secretly sold drugs during a brief period of their relationship, but said he admitted to a relapse into his “puffing” addiction just weeks before his death.

Aaron had previously been open about his struggles, claiming he had 100 bouts of snorting a few years ago, but told The US Sun in September he had never used street drugs.

Office or kitchen items can be “sniffed” or “sniffed,” while “dusting” refers to a specific brand of dust cleaner that is inhaled.

An emotional Melanie told The US Sun: “These enablers were also people in his past so they would come back. I only saw her two years ago [of me] be with him.

“I saw payments [his] Cell connected to me for $2/3,000. I knew what they were doing.

“We had a fight because he was like, ‘Oh, you’re trying to control what I’m doing.’ He said, ‘I owed him money.’ I guess no you didn’t.’”

Though Melanie insists she’s never seen him do drugs, she believes from text messages that he bought “painkillers” and his buddies asked, “Hey, do you want another care package?”

“At some points I screamed and screamed and pissed people off,” she recalls.

“I basically had to happily fend them off and tell them, ‘You’re not welcome in this house.’

“It didn’t happen until I was maybe seven months pregnant. Right at the start when we first found out [about the baby], everything was good, we were still great. We didn’t really have many problems.

“It wasn’t until I was seven or eight months old that these people came by.

“That was basically the beginning of the worst part of his life.

“It caused a lot of friction between me and Aaron because I felt like he thought I was just nagging him and trying to boss him around, but I was just protecting him from these people. He was manipulated by them.

“I was right there and they hated me for being the bad guy trying to stop the party. Yes he’s a dad, of course I’ll try to stop the party.

“I didn’t want to lose Aaron. Nobody wants to lose their love. Of course they will try everything to stop it.”

Melanie, who first connected to Aaron via social media in 2019, got engaged to the star in June 2020 – and later welcomed their son last November.

The couple lost custody of Prince in March and he has lived with Melanie’s mother since, but she insists she is close to settling the legal issue.

Through tears, she said: “Now my son doesn’t have a father because all these people want to interfere and want to be his best friend and not take care of him. Not looking out for his best interests.

“When I got rid of one person, another person would come and try to do the exact same thing.

“I saw some messages where he said, ‘I want to be a father. I want to be good for my son.

“They tried to sell him stuff off the street and it’s totally illegal.

“I feel like the enablers wanted to get money and also want to be associated with his name.

“They knew there would be media like, ‘Aaron is having his first baby, let’s be around him.’

“I don’t need recognition. I don’t care. I’m depressed about my fiancé. I was with him for three years.

“It just wasn’t a small affair. And I wasn’t just his baby mom, I was his fiancee. We’ve had our ups and downs, but that’s due to the struggles of his addiction and possibly his mental health.”

Melanie admits they split again a week before his death and left home to stay with family, but felt he was “cooling off” and planned on the day he was found dead was to return to the house.

Although she’s not sure if his untimely death involved drugs and is awaiting the autopsy results, she said she would be willing to speak to police about what she knew.

“I’m just trying to warn people that if you see this stuff, try to involve the police or something, that could have been prevented if I just told the right people,” she admits.

“I think if I had gotten the right help from someone, someone would have helped me get rid of these people and held them accountable for what they did.

“Friends shouldn’t do that to you. He had a legacy. He was Aaron Carter and they did that to him. Don’t you think something will happen to him if you let that happen?”

She says she confronted him several times, including after being told he was snorting live on Instagram, but he only admitted to slipping once before his death.

Aaron, who gave his latest interview with The US Sun, claimed he’s on prescription drugs after his past wheezing “screwed up” his brain.

But he insisted he would never overdose on pills or buy illegal drugs, saying: “I go through everything properly. Nothing ever off the street, ever. I would never do that.

“I lost my sister to an accidental drug overdose, so I would never do that. I would never overtake my meds.”

He had enrolled in an outpatient rehab program in a desperate attempt to stay clean and was also attempting to quit smoking weed.
