Aaron Carter’s fiancee Melanie Martin breaks her silence on ‘murder allegations’ and reveals strange elements surrounding his death

AARON Carter’s fiancee Melanie Martin has broken her silence after the star’s mother made a shocking claim that the singer may have been murdered.

The 34-year-old singer, who rose to fame as a teenage heartthrob in the ’90s, was found dead by his housekeeper in the bathtub of his Lancaster, California home on November 5, 2022.

An official cause of death has not yet been announced as autopsy results are pending, although Carter, who was struggling with drug addiction, was rumored to have accidentally overdosed.

However, Carter’s mother, Jane, does not believe this theory and believes that her son was murdered.

Police claim there were no signs of foul play, but Jane claimed on social media that police “never investigated a possible crime scene because of his history of addiction”.

She said that “Aaron has had many death threats and many, many people making life difficult for him.”

Melanie Martin, Carter’s fiancee, with whom he had a young son, exclusively told The US Sun that she shares his mother’s concerns as “many factors that have been discussed with the police and the coroner don’t add up [a] simple overdose.”

She said, “I want to know what really happened so I can focus on raising our son Prince without constantly losing sleep over what happened to his father every night.”

The 35-year-old regained full custody of their son, year-old Prince, in December after the couple lost guardianship earlier in March.

She told The US Sun at the time that she “finally feels like a mom.”

One strange thing Martin noted was that Carter’s phone was not used in the 24 hours leading up to his death and was later found in his car after his death, she claimed.

Martin found that odd, since Carter was “inseparably linked to his iPhone.”

“I’ve never seen Aaron leave his phone unattended, especially far from where he was found,” she said.

She also noted that Carter preferred the shower at his home and “seldom used that tub” where he was found.

“He also always locked the door for privacy,” she said.

But when his body was discovered, the door was unlocked, Martin claimed.

The beauty influencer also found her dog Zelda’s behavior mismatched as she claimed the pet was reportedly in the bathroom with Carter.

“Given the amount of time he was supposedly in there with our dog Zelda, it doesn’t add up that our dog didn’t use the restroom there,” she said, noting, “like Zelda, a trained companion dog, didn’t damage anything during Aaron.” was in there.”

Carter’s mother, Jane, also posted photos of Carter’s bathroom Wednesday, taken on the day of his death.

A photo shows the green water bath tub reportedly from Carter’s body, which was left for several hours before his housekeeper found him.

She also shared photos of the floor with towels, clothes and what appeared to be spilled contaminated water.

“I’m still trying to do a real investigation into the death of my son Aaron Carter,” the heartbroken mother wrote online.

She added, “I want to share these death scene photos with you all because the coroner wrote it off as an accidental drug overdose.”

Jane claimed the photos were not taken by cops and that authorities “allowed people to go in and out.”

“A lot of potential murder information was there for years,” she claimed.

BIZARRE BEHAVIOR

Martin claimed Carter was acting strangely before his death, saying that “nothing fit a normal pattern in the last few days of his life.”

While Martin was not in the house with him, she asked the housekeeper to update her on everything Carter was doing, to which she agreed.

The fiancee explained, “The Tuesday before he died, I called a social check for Aaron while he was driving the RV.”

Police officers moved Carter over that day and conducted sobriety tests on the spot, TMZ reported at the time.

But they determined that Carter was not under the influence of any substances. Martin said police determined “he was fine to drive”.

“Because of the media attention this caused, Aaron felt like I was embarrassing him, so we decided to take a few days apart.

“I took our son to my mother’s,” Martin said.

Martin admitted that she was “super concerned that Aaron would relapse again as he’s had a few times over the past few months.”

She noted that “he had signed up for outpatient rehab and made an appointment for Friday, November 4th.”

It’s unclear if Carter ever attended the appointment.

“I had sent several text messages to our housekeeper expressing my concern for his well-being with no response from her,” Martin claimed.

“No one informed me that Aaron had left home for Walmart that night, even though that’s exactly what I asked for.”

She added: “It was unusual that he did that because of his fear. He usually asked someone else to go for him.”

Martin said the last thing she heard about Carter was from the housekeeper’s friend, who told her he “eats snacks.”

“It was strange to me that the friend answered instead of our housekeeper.

She added: “Hopefully one day we’ll have an answer soon [as to what happened to Carter] Instead of telling Prince in years, ‘I wish we knew.'”

Melanie previously spoke about Carter not being part of the memorial segment at this year’s Grammy Awards, calling it “disrespectful.”

A number of stars were honored during the event including Loretta Lynn, Takeoff, tWitch and others which had fans around the world.

She told The US Sun at the time: “It is very disheartening that Aaron was not included in the Grammys In Memoriam section.

“Aaron wanted nothing more than to be loved and accepted in this world. It was disrespectful.”
