Following the tragic news, Aaron Carter’s ex-girlfriend Melanie, 30, posted a two-second clip of herself crying on TikTok.

The mother-of-one was raw with emotion as she recorded herself while driving.

Fans showed their support for Melanie in the heartbreaking post’s comments thread.

One person wrote: “I’m so sorry. Please remember that you have the most of him than anyone and that is Prince.

Another of her followers commented: “You tried so many times to save him. I’m so sorry Prince lost his daddy.”

“I am so sorry. Praying so much for you and baby,” added a third.

While a fourth fan explained: “My condolences. I pray that he has found peace. They tried to bring him back to life and I’m sure he appreciated that.”

RELATIONSHIP SCHEDULE

Aaron first went public with his former relationship in January 2020 when he shared a picture of the couple on Instagram.

He wrote at the time: “She loves me, she loves me not, she woke me up from my nap but I’m not complaining.”

In February this year, the singer hinted that things were getting serious when he referred to the owner of the whipstick as his “wife.”

He wrote: “Remember, SHE comes first, always put your wife first over your own selfish needs. My dad always taught me that. Do it right with your wife, happy wife, happy life.”

The couple then got engaged in June to show their bond.

Aaron and Melanie welcomed their first child together in November 2021.

The I Want Candy singer took to Instagram to share the exciting news about his son. “Emergency C-section after 13 hours of labour, but my fiancee is in excellent health. Thank you Lord and the incredibly sweet loving staff here,” he wrote.

“Prince is precious, I love you son. Your mommy loves you while I shed tears on the phone. This is me cutting my umbilical cord, my beloved family.”

Adding: “@missmelaniemartin so proud of you honey. You managed. I love you with all my heart. My beautiful blessings from God.”

BREAK UP

On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, Aaron Carter announced that he and his baby mom had reportedly split.

In a series of tweets, Carter spoke about the split, citing his family as one of the sources.

“There was a very big lie and my sister’s communication with my ex-fiancé ruined everything considering she knew what Engel was trying to do to me in court, thank you Engel you ruined my family. God bless you,” he wrote.

He continued, “I have never felt so devastated and betrayed and lied to in my entire life. This is such an awful situation considering Prince deserves none of this and now my job is just to be a single dad and that’s going to happen.”

Bulgarian-born Melanie Martin is a bartender and lash bar owner.
