Police initially suspected foul play in her disappearance when they combed the property on the 7000 block of Craybrough Circle.
Forensics reportedly found that a “significant amount of blood” was removed from the home when an investigation was launched.
Investigators quickly interviewed members of Yolanda’s family, including husband Jose Villa-Denova, 48.
He was reportedly arrested and later charged with evidence tampering and is being held in the Travis County Jail on $50,000 bail.

On Tuesday, police made a startling breakthrough after discovering people in an “advanced state of decomposition” after a thorough dog-led search of the area.
The remains were later identified by coroners as belonging to 40-year-old Yolanda.
According to APD, the cause of death of the deceased woman has yet to be determined.
This week, Yolanda’s daughter, the eldest of four, paid a tearful tribute to her mother to Fox 7 News.
She told the outlet that her mother loved her “unconditionally” and would never willingly leave her.
The daughter also revealed that they met with her for the day of her disappearance.
She said, “I know if something happened to her, she would want me to be strong for her.”
Local enforcement has now issued a request for everyone to come forward with information.
