PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – What a glorious start to the weekend!
Deliberately: Tomorrow wind recommendation for areas north and west of PIT gusting to 50 mph. Up to about 1 inch of rain throughout Monday with a possible afternoon/evening thunderstorm.

Alarm: none. Wait for an alert day for Monday as there is no widespread risk of flooding… although it will be a wet day.
Highs are in the 70’s today although no records, Pittsburgh’s record high is 78 degrees and we’ll have a mild night and more warm air on Sunday.

Showers will creep in here tomorrow morning as the warm front sweeps through the region, but we should have some dry time by mid-afternoon. Winds will be gusty tomorrow afternoon and evening with gusts reaching 45-50mph at times.
A wind advisory will be released for counties north and west of Pittsburgh through tomorrow, when gusts will be at their highest. Make sure you secure outdoor items like trash cans.
The steady, heavier rain comes Monday ahead of the approaching cold front and we’re expecting about 1 inch of rain throughout the day and evening.
With this warm, unstable air, we can’t rule out a rumble of thunder or even a thunderstorm or two. Temperatures are falling behind the front on Tuesday and we can even see the latest rain showers ending as a few snowflakes, although no accumulation.
