A sweeping cold front will bring temperatures down – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Brrr!
A cold front has swept over our region, temperatures are dropping and some sleet is starting to hit the radar.

Awareness: Tonight and tomorrow it will be colder, with scattered snow.

Temperatures were almost 25 degrees colder than yesterday and they will continue to drop overnight for teenagers across much of the region and even some higher numbers for their northernmost regions. ta.

The sleet will continue to be off and on (or a few scattered showers) through Sunday night with the I-80 corridor and Laurel Plateau likely for a small build-up.
Laurel (actually the highest elevation in the WV) will see its best chance for some snow to accumulate before the dry weather returns on Monday and persists through Thursday.
The big story this week will be some wild temperature swings accompanied by a cold snap tonight and tomorrow before heading into the ’50s Wednesday and Thursday, followed by another cooldown.
