A stranger walked into my Airbnb room at 2 a.m

An AIRBNB guest was suddenly awakened when a stranger entered the bedroom he was sleeping in the next day.

Paul Drecksler Was Traveling All Day When He Finally Arrived In What He Thought To Be His South Florida Rent a house at 2 a.m. one evening.

Drecksler said he came to find the exact home described above Airbnb app, access to the home through an unlocked door.

“In the bedroom, the bed was made and ready to go, and there were two clean folded towels waiting for me,” Drecksler said. WSVN.

The tired traveling man said he fell asleep and woke up to find the host very confused.

“The next morning, I was woken up by a knock on the door. I was surprised that this guy even knocked himself.

“He said, ‘Hey, what can I do for you? This is my home,” and I said, “Um, no, this is the Airbnb I rented. ‘ He said, ‘No, this is my house,’ said Drecksler.

“I may have been woken up by an angry landlord. Really bad things could have happened.”

The landlord eventually escorted Drecksler to the exit, and he eventually found his rental next door.

“I accidentally got the wrong address when I went from the Airbnb app to Google maps; the address became the house right next door,” Drecksler explained to the outlet.

He added: “In hindsight, now that I look back, all the clues were there. This is not the right Airbnb, but at 2 o’clock your brain is like this. This is one of those. “

Drecksler said he will be more careful in the future by double-checking his Airbnb rental information.

“I have stayed in hundreds of Airbnbs and this has never happened before,” Drecksler said.

Airbnb told The US Sun it had never heard of an incident like Drecksler happening but was glad everyone was safe and the confusion cleared up.
