A Neighborhood’s New Year’s Eve at Central Park Bar

CHICAGO – Looking for an alternative to the big events happening downtown NYE? Newly opened bar, Central Park Bar is a classic corner bar with old Chicago pub charm.

The bar, located in Avondale, features a 3,500-square-foot outdoor “backyard bar” in what was formerly a city vacant lot adjacent to the bar. It features a picnic table, fire pit, porch swing, and bumper swimming pool. The space will be open in winter for fun, but you’ll have to grade your drinks from the inside bar as the outside bar doesn’t serve drinks until spring.

You can expect classic cocktails on the menu with a wide range of local craft cocktails, local and international beers. There is no kitchen on site, but you can have food delivered from many of the nearby restaurants.
