A mass shooting in Hampton, Georgia has killed at least four people and the suspect is on the run as police launch an urgent manhunt

At least four people have died in a mass shooting as the killer is still at large.

An active shooting incident, as police called it, occurred late Saturday morning in a residential neighborhood in Hampton, about 40 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia.

“I can confirm that four people have died,” said Melissa Robinson, spokeswoman for the county government The Associated Press.

“At the moment, the suspect is still at large.”

Several law enforcement agencies are helping, including the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Hampton Police plan to release more information later in the day.
