VANESSA Feltz was brought to tears as she read the announcement of the Queen’s death live on TalkTV.
The beloved monarch died on September 8th, leaving the nation stunned and mourning.
Leaders from around the world paid tribute to Her Majesty who reigned for 70 years.
While concerns about her health had been mounting throughout the afternoon, the announcement still came as a shock to many.
Feltz was presenting her new drivetime show, Talk TV, which debuted this week when she had to make the announcement.
The former BBC radio star came back from a break where she could be seen grabbing a piece of paper.
Trying to keep her voice calm, she says, “It’s 6:32. The day is September 8, 2022.”
Feltz fought back tears as she said: “And I am so sorry to bring you the extremely sad news that Her Majesty The Queen has passed away.
“The news was confirmed by Buckingham Palace. Her Majesty was 96 years old and had reigned 70 years.
“News of her death is reaching the rest of the world and she was monarch to more than 100 million people.”
Feltz was among millions of Britons hit hard by the news as the nation reflected on her loss.
After her show ended, Piers Morgan also paid tribute to the Queen’s extraordinary reign on TalkTV.
Thousands gathered outside Buckingham Palace and stayed late into the night as mourning gripped Britain and the world.

Among the most poignant honors came the Queen’s son and the new King, Charles.
He said: “The death of my beloved mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of greatest sadness for me and all members of my family.
“We deeply mourn the passing of a cherished sovereign and a beloved mother. I know their loss will be deeply felt across the land, in the rich and in the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.
“During this time of sorrow and change, my family and I are comforted and strengthened by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection that was so widespread for the Queen.”
