PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Love the sunshine!
Sun, clear skies, and warm air are moving in from the southwest and combining to push our temperatures down to 30 today (far from single-digit temperatures this morning).
Some clouds will roll in tonight and temperatures won’t be too cold with lows in the 20s or so.
Monday will bring the highs into the low 40s at most points with some clouds rising in the afternoon.
A turbulence to the Great Lakes will bring the possibility of showers and some sleet late into the evening tomorrow Tuesday morning, leaving a layer of dust or a maximum of half an inch at the elevations. higher than that of the Laurel Mountains.
Temperatures do drop a bit after that system but will recover by midweek and stay at weather levels over 30 to below 40 most of the week.
Another system coming in from Thursday-Friday could bring our next chance of some sleet or rain/snow.
