9-year-old Ukrainian girl writes heartbreaking letter to mother killed by Russian forces
A NINE-YEAR-OLD girl in Ukraine wrote a heartbreaking letter to her dead mother after they were reportedly gunned down in their car.
In a handwritten note in a diary, she wrote: “We will meet in heaven.

“I’ll do my best to get to heaven too.”
The letter was shared by a Ukrainian MP on Twitter and is said to be March 8, two weeks after Vladimir Putin’s attack.
It was not clear where in Ukraine the incident happened.
Written in childish handwriting without dots and some grammatical mistakes, she said:
“Mother. This letter is a gift for you on March 8th.
“If you think you raised me for nothing. Thank you for the best nine years of my life.
“I am very grateful to you for my childhood. You are the best mom in the world. I will never forget you.
“I want you to be happy in heaven. I wish you go to heaven. We will meet in heaven.
“I will do my best to go to heaven too.
“Kiss you, Galiya.”
