A VHS tape of Star Wars: Episode IV is in the pipeline and is expected to gross a staggering $60,000.
Tape, was the first edition to come with “Grey Tape-Head” labels, “First Edition Stereo Only” red labels, “1984 Sleeve” and “First Edition CBS/Fox Watermarks”.
When the VHS tape was initially sold, it was the first time anyone could watch the film at home and became a legend among collectors and film lovers.
It made $57,600 when it was first put up for auction, reports TMZ.
A sealed copy of the “Star Wars 10th Anniversary Original Trilogy Set in Trilogy Case” is also among the items in the auction and is expected to fetch between $10,000 and $20,000. .
Classic replicas of Jurassic Park and Conan Terminator are also up for bids.
Bid closes on 24 February.
The original Star Wars film, starring Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher, was released in May 1977 and grossed $775 million in its prime.
