The Sandman (Season 1)

The much-anticipated The Sandman The series is easily one of the best new Netflix shows to watch this weekend. Based on the comic by Neil Gaiman for DC, this series has been in development for several years and Season 1 consists of 10 episodes that blend modern myth and dark fantasy.

Morpheus, the King of Dreams, endured years of imprisonment after being captured in an occult ritual. After escaping, he sets out to restore order to his dreaming kingdom.

Starring Tom Sturridge, Boyd Holbrook, Vivienne Acheampong, Patton Oswalt, Gwendoline Christie, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Mason Alexander Park, Donna Preston, Kyo Ra, Stephen Fry, Razane Jammal and Sandra James Young.

Super Giant Brothers (Season 1)

The first season of the animated Super giant robot brothers was recently published. Created by Víctor Maldonado and Alfredo Torres for Netflix, this series is an action-adventure comedy for the whole family.

Set in the future, robotic siblings Shiny (Eric Lopez) and Thunder (Chris Diamantopoulos) are tasked with defending Earth when space monsters attack. Along with their genius inventor Alex Rose (Marisa Davila) and Colonel Creed (Delbert Hunt), leader of the Extreme Defense Force, they form a rather dysfunctional family who must band together to protect Earth.

Trainwreck Woodstock ’99

The three-part documentary Trainwreck Woodstock ’99 will make you happy you missed the event that was meant to compete with its 1960s namesake but completely missed the mark.

Woodstock ’99 was a three day festival to celebrate peace, love and great music. In the end it was a train wreck of fire, riots and destruction. Using insider footage and eyewitness interviews with staff, cast and attendees, this series reveals what really went on at a celebration billed as “the millennium-defining celebration.”

Locke & Key (Season 3 Coming Soon)

fans of lock & key are excited to learn that the third and final season will be released on August 10th. This gives fans plenty of time for a replay, and plenty of time for those who haven’t seen it to catch up. The series is a coming-of-age crime thriller that depicts the ups and downs of a family experienced in love, loss and family bonds.

The series begins after the death of Rendell Locke, when his family is filming in Matheson, Massachusetts, at his childhood home, Keyhouse. His children, Tyler, Kinsey, and Bode, soon discover mysterious keys in the house that possess magical powers that are somehow connected to a demonic entity that is also looking for the keys to use in their evil schemes.

I’ve Never (Season 3 Coming Soon)

The coming of age comedy I have never will release its third season on August 12th. Now is the perfect time for a replay or to start watching ahead of the Season 3 release date. Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, this series is set in the San Fernando Valley and is loosely based on Kaling’s childhood in Boston.

Devi Vishwakumar, a 15-year-old Indian-American Tamil girl, lost feeling in her legs after the sudden death of her father and was unable to walk for three months. Out of nowhere she can suddenly walk again. The series follows Devi and her life as a teenager trying to deal with school life, family issues and her feelings for boys.

John McEnroe narrates for Devi, Andy Samberg and Gigi Hadid each narrate an episode for Ben and Paxton, Devi’s crushes.
