Though a paper shortage stalled the first round of rebate reviews, Indiana officials have confirmed the money is now on its way.
However, the total amount of the check depends on how individuals filed their taxes.
Individual taxpayers will receive a $325 check, while married couples applying together will receive a $650 check.
Those who haven’t yet received their $125 automatic tax refund should expect to see their checks in a few weeks.
A lack of paper on which to print the checks prevented them from coming out as planned.
But Emily Boesen, a spokeswoman for the State Audit Office, said the checks could go out as early as the week of August 15.
It includes not only tax refunds, but also the $200 payment recently signed by Gov. Eric Holcomb.
The two payments are combined into one check.
Boesen added that approximately 1.7 million checks need to be printed.
The chartered accountant’s office expects to print 50,000 checks a day, which will take 24 to 48 hours to mail.
