Associate Attorney Woo premiered on Netflix on June 29, and no one could have guessed that it would be a smash hit with audiences everywhere. New episodes were released weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays with a season finale scheduled for August 18.

It’s a heartwarming show about an autistic lawyer named Woo Young-woo who, as a freshman at a leading law firm, tackles challenging cases while struggling to navigate social interactions. The K-drama was praised for its compelling story, well-written screenplays, positive portrayal of autism, outstanding performances and a perfect cast.

The show really gets better with each episode and leaves you wanting more by the end of the season. Overall, it’s very addictive and enjoyable to watch.

Fortunately, the show is in talks for one Associate Attorney Woo Season 2. On August 17, one of the show’s production companies, AStory, spoke to South Korean media about the possibility of a second season. The company said, “Thanks to the support of many people, we will be producing Season 2 of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo.’ The goal is to air season 2 in 2024.” However, Netflix has not yet announced a second season.

Still, I’d say the odds are one Associate Attorney Woo Season 2 are quite high as it has performed well on both Netflix and the channel it is broadcast on in South Korea. We’ll keep you updated on any news about a possible second season.
