2-year-old boy seriously injured in shooting – CBS Pittsburgh

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) – Authorities in Ohio say a 2-year-old boy was critically injured in a shooting incident in Toledo.
Sgt. Brian Bortel told Toledo Blade the boy was reported in critical condition after being stabbed in the torso around 6:15 p.m. at a home in South Toledo.

The paramedics who transported the boy also told the ProMedica Toledo hospital emergency room about the injury to his left knee.

Bortel said the two would be taken to the Safe Building downtown for questioning as witnesses. WTOL TV reported that two people in handcuffs were escorted out of the house.
There was no immediate information on the circumstances of the shooting.
