2 earthquakes rattle Hawaii’s Big Island

Two earthquakes struck near the coast of Hawaii’s Big Island inside 20 minutes of one another on Sunday afternoon. 

The primary quake, with a magnitude of 6.1, hit at round midday, 17 miles south of the southern tip of the island, the U.S. Geological Survey stated. The second trembler was barely stronger, with a magnitude of 6.2, and struck roughly 20 minutes later in the identical neighborhood. The USGS acquired 2,000 stories from Hawaiians who stated they felt the quakes. No harm or accidents have been reported, though a number of individuals did say they noticed objects falling off cabinets.
