Some of the ways you can avoid delays is to make sure your bank and address information is up to date.
But luckily, changing your information is pretty simple.
After you move or change your bank information, you can update your bank information by login to your account.
For banking information, do this in the “Benefits & Payment Details” section and in the “Update Contact Information” section to update your address.
Please also note that Social Security payment dates may be changed if they are affected by holiday schedule in a particular month.
Typically, SSI claimants receive their checks on the first day of each month.
In this case, they won’t receive another check until February 1st.
