16 & Josh Rendon of pregnant woman arrested for ‘stealing a car and almost running past the police’ and charged with attempting to MURDER

16 & PREGNANT star Joshua Rendon was arrested for “stealing a car” and charged with knowingly killing a peace officer.

The Sun can confirm Josh is still in prison nearly a year after his arrest and faces a placement hearing at the end of next month.

According to a local source, on March 6, 2021, Larimer County police identified a stolen vehicle in Fort Collins, a town just north of Denver, Colorado.

Investigators found four people inside the stolen vehicle and followed it to an apartment complex.

By locality Newsletter KDVR At the time of the incident, police turned on the emergency lights and contacted the front and rear bumpers of the stolen vehicle to try to prevent the vehicle from escaping.

However, the vehicle with Josh, believed to be in the driver’s seat, then reversed and crashed into a patrol vehicle, nearly passing a deputy, according to police.

Josh’s car crashed into another police car and sped away.

Soon after, the stolen car was discovered continuing down another road.

Josh is said to have had a second confrontation with officers when he drove head-on into two of the sheriff’s cars, nearly hitting them head-on.

An auxiliary vehicle cut off Josh’s head and the vehicle rolled and plunged into the cliff.

Josh was ejected from the driver’s seat and jogged from the scene into the field.

He was found in the backyard and arrested shortly after.

An unidentified second adult male was the only person in the vehicle when it crashed, and there are no reports of what happened to the other two when Josh was first discovered.

The unidentified second party was not arrested.

Josh looks unrecognizable in his photo, as his face is covered with scratches, although he can still be recognized by the lip tattoo on his neck.

He survived and was treated for multiple injuries from the crash before being jailed.

JOSH’S FEES

Now 30 years old MTV alum was taken to prison on seven shocking charges.

The charges against him include attempted murder of a peace officer; stay away from vehicles; motor vehicle theft is aggravated; crime of discord; driving is suspended; criminal possession of an ID document; and theft of motor vehicle parts.

Starcasm was the first to report that Josh, nearly a year later, was still being held at the Larimer County Jail on a $500,000 deposit.

Josh is scheduled for a hearing scheduled for March 31.

CRIMINAL HISTORY

On September 20, 2011 Josh and his ex from 16 & PregnantEbony Jackson, both were arrested on charges of “failing to report child abuse or neglect” to their then 2-year-old daughter Jocelyn.

According to Starcasm, marijuana and injecting drug paraphernalia were found in the home.

In addition, every room inside the house is said to “have human and dog feces on the floor, walls, and clothing.”

The report continued: “The house was full of flies and, in some areas, maggots.”

Allegedly, Child Protective Services took Jocelyn away, although Josh and Jocelyn were able to regain custody of the child.

GET STARTED WITH EBONY

Ebony and Josh lost a son born prematurely in 2011.

Together they welcomed their second daughter in 2012.

In 2013, the couple divorced and Ebony suffered a second miscarriage.

After Ebony and Josh split, she welcomed her third daughter in 2014 and met James Baldrick, even though they’re divorced.

Her most recent Instagram post shows her third daughter, Jae, smiling for the camera to show off her latest art and craft project.

Ebony seems to have moved away from both exes and posted pictures with her daughters.
