CHICAGO (CBS) — A 15-year-old boy who was critically wounded was amongst two shot in an internet sale meetup late Saturday in Belmont Heights, police mentioned.
A 29-year-old man listed a gaming console on-line and was contacted by the 15-year-old and 19-year-old man about it, police mentioned. The three met up for the sale within the 3600 block of North Octavia at about 10:10 p.m. when one of many males grabbed the console with out paying for it and started to stroll towards his automotive. The 29-year-old ran after him and noticed a second male in a automotive pointing a gun at him. That’s when police mentioned the 29-year-old pulled out his gun and shot each the 19-year-old and 15-year-old.
The 15-year-old was shot within the head and is listed in important situation and the 19-year-old was shot within the shoulder and was listed in honest situation. Each have been taken to Group First Medical Middle and are in custody, in accordance with police.
