At least 15 people have been killed after a full tourist bus collided with a fuel truck on a motorway.

According to reports, after the accident, the driver of the tanker fled the scene of the accident while passing in the early hours of the morning.

Reportedly with him was Varsol, a highly flammable liquid used in paint thinner.

The bus was carrying about 40 people from Huejutle to the city of Monterrey when tragedy struck around 4am.

It comes after 24 people were killed after a bus slid off a bridge and plunged into a river valley.

It is feared the vehicle’s brakes failed and it fell 131 feet into the steep ditch in central Kenya.

At least 23 passengers died in another bus accident after the vehicle collided with a truck on a highway in Egypt.

Authorities said in a statement the accident happened when a passenger bus traveling from the city of Sohag to Cairo struck a stopped truck on Cairo-Assiut Road.
