After hitting the scales at 700 pounds, Tammy has lost a shocking 300 pounds in her battle with obesity.

The 36-year-old successfully underwent bariatric surgery in the summer of 2022 – and has since lost a further 150 pounds.

Meanwhile, Amy, 35, who underwent the same surgery, has lost 125 pounds herself since beginning her documented weight loss journey.

But some fans say Tammy has overtaken her sister in the loss column, and that’s making Amy jealous.

In a lengthy post on a Reddit chat room, a fan hypothesized that Amy put off further weight loss to take care of her kids.

At the same time, Tammy, who suffered from near-death anxiety, found new motivation.

“(Tammy) lost the most weight in season 4 than all (other) seasons combined. I wonder if that’s why Amy is afraid that one day she will be the ‘bigger sister’. And that’s why she wants to be on her own again ) weight loss.

“I don’t blame her, being the biggest sibling in this family seems like a depressing/disheartening role.”

NOT FUNNY

On her show, Amy often pokes fun at Tammy for being the “bigger sister.” Now that Tammy is losing weight, viewers think Amy suddenly feels left behind.

And that has created a rift between the once-close sisters as Amy tries to hold Tammy harder.

“Amy has always been the younger sister who has more ‘normal’ life experiences,” commented one follower. “In my opinion it’s pretty obvious that she likes being the little sister and I have no doubt she would sabotage Tammy to keep her place.”

Another said: “Tammy is jealous of Amy. And Amy likes to feel superior to Tammy.”

While a third concluded: “Amy has always been the smaller sister and I think that gave her a distorted sense of being the ‘skinny’ one.

“Like ‘Well, I’m fat, but I’m mobile and nowhere near as tall as Tammy,’ so it’s an odd sense of comfort for her.

“As close as they are, they’re toxic to each other.”

AMY VS. TAMMY

Recently, Amy was spotted outside her home in Kentucky showing off her impressive 125 pound weight loss.

In exclusive photos that The US Sun. were made available, Amy went on a family day out with her sons Gage, two, and Glenn, nine months.

Showing off her much slimmer figure since the first season of the TLC show, she wore a striped t-shirt with cut-out shoulders and black pants.

Meanwhile, there are signs the sabotage may be working after Tammy was caught breaking her strict diet by grabbing a fast-food meal, in new photos exclusively obtained by The US Sun .

Tammy was seen sitting in the front seat of her car clutching a McDonald’s takeout bag while Amy sat in the back.

After driving through the fast food joint, the sisters headed home and it seemed that one stop wasn’t enough to satisfy their cravings.

Amy was also seen with a Wendy’s drink as she got out of the car and walked up her driveway.
