AMY Slaton has mourned the loss of her best friend in the latest episode of £1000 Sisters.

Amy and Tammy Slaton are the sisters on the reality show 1000-lb Sisters, but this week they mourned the loss of their pal and best friend on the show.

Amy’s dog, Little Bit, died suddenly in April last year, but it was revealed on the show for the first time this week.

According to Amy’s memorial Instagram post, Little Bit was born in 2000, making the pup 22 when she died.

Amy picked up Little Bit from “grandma’s house” and when the puppy was in the car she fell down and couldn’t breathe.

Amy’s husband Michael tried to wake the dog up but was unsuccessful.

Amy said: “Little Bit was literally my daughter. She may not have been human, but she was my daughter.”

As she reminisced, Amy spoke about Little Bit walking her down the aisle at her wedding and when she ate a whole piece of lasagna.

Amy also said Little Bit was Tammy’s “girlfriend,” and Amy is concerned about how Tammy will take the loss. She said: “Tammy will be devastated.”

Later in the episode, Amy broke the bad news to Tammy. After Tammy heard the news, she said, “My heart stopped for her” and that her heart was broken.

Tammy was in rehab when Little Bit died, so Tammy couldn’t say goodbye.

Amy and Michael held a memorial service for the special dog, and she was buried in her backyard for family to visit.

RIP LITTLE

Fans on Twitter rallied around the Slaton family to surround them with love and support following the loss of their beloved pet.

One wrote: “Lil Bit was soooo cute. May her soul rest in peace. I’m over here crying for a dog I’ve never met. She was that special. My heart goes out to Amy and her family who loved Lil Bit so much.”

Another said: “Disappointing to hear Lil’ Bit passed away!! She was a great family dog!”

A third wrote: “Awww Little Bit went over the rainbow bridge.”

BABY NUMBER TWO

Although Amy mourned the loss of her dog, she has two young sons to fill the void.

On the previous episode of the TLC show, Amy went to the doctor to find out the gender of her second child.

Amy was hoping for a girl, but she was pregnant with a son named Glenn.

Glenn was born via a cesarean section on July 5, 2022, Amy exclusively told PEOPLE.

The fourth season trailer shows a pregnant Amy being taken to the hospital, but the new mom’s social media reveals that she and the baby are alive and happy.

The newborn, Glenn Allen Halterman, weighed 5 pounds 11 ounces and was 17.5 inches long at birth.

Amy told People: “The wait is finally over… Michael and I are delighted to announce the birth of our son Glenn Allen Halterman.

“The birth was a smash hit and now I have my two wonder boys; our family is complete!”

Amy’s first son, Gage Deon Halterman, was born on November 10, 2020
