A LOTTERY LOTTERY player has won hundreds of dollars on three tickets before bankrolling $100,000 in an incredible winning streak.

The man told lottery officials he was feeling lucky after his initial $5 investment in a scratch-off ticket was successful.

It started with a $100 prize for a ticket that Jose Vasquez bought in Charlottesville, Virginia, Convenience store.

After winning the Money Maker Crossword 5X ticket for the first time, he decided to play again and won $200.

To his surprise, the third ticket brought him $400. But he didn’t stop there.

Vasquez bought another scratch-off ticket, this time winning a whopping $100,000 just days after Christmas.

He hit some impressive odds as his chances of winning the top prize in the game are 1 in 1,224,000, according to the Virginia Lottery.

The lucky winner told lottery officials he had big plans for the unexpected prize money.

“I’m happy because I’ve always wanted to start my own company but didn’t have the money to do it,” Vasquez said.

Money Maker Crossword 5X is a game available through the Virginia Lottery.

It involves a crossword game, with players receiving 18 letters and a challenge to complete three words, according to Charlotte Observer.

Vasquez took home the third of six $100,000 prizes available in the series, meaning the top three remain unclaimed in the game.

While Vasquez’s $100,700 win in the scratch game was impressive, lottery players had a chance to become millionaires in a Friday night draw.

The Mega Millions Jackpot sits at $376 million with a $256.4 million cash option before the draw.

The jackpot has been building since it was last won in Arizona on October 22.

Meanwhile, Powerball The jackpot sits at $76 million with a $53 million cash value before Saturday night’s draw.
