LEBANON, Pa. (AP) — An officer was killed and two others shot Thursday in Pennsylvania while responding to a domestic disturbance call, Lebanese Mayor Sherry Capello said.
Police officers went to a house in town to make the jamming call around 3:30 p.m. when gunshots erupted and officers radioed that they were hit, Capello said at a brief news conference.

All three officers were taken to hospitals. One of them was pronounced dead. A second is in critical condition but stable, and a third is in stable condition, Capello said.
The suspect, a 34-year-old man, was killed in the shooting, Lebanese Police Chief Todd Breiner said.

The name of the officer who was killed is being withheld pending notification of extended family.
The police did not release any further details.
